I’m wondering…if any of you have a favorite type of tree, because I happen to be a huge fan of the ol’ maple. To me, they are the happiest, wisest looking trees that I have ever encountered, and I can honestly say that I’ve encountered a lot of trees over the time I’ve been on this great old Earth.
This tree is my favorite maple tree I’ve seen. Its at my aunt and uncles house, on the “family” orchard in Hood River, OR. This was obviously taken during the big snowstorm we had, which I fully enjoyed. Its my favorite tree for a couple reasons; one being, its a maple, and its on the family orchard, two, I remeber riding my little John Deere tractor under this tree, and parking it beside it, and three, my favorite rock is right next to it, where my grandpa’s ashes were buried and my brother’s two old rat’s were buried, Spotty and Ratface, really original names, I know.
